North Miami Beach, Florida
Expected Completion: October 2025
Ocean Terrace Park is one of Miami Beach’s most significant revitalization efforts. RJI transformed a paved and lifeless stretch into a lush beachfront landscape. This park restores native habitats, creates shaded walkways, and opens sweeping views of the Atlantic. At its heart stands Reflection, a collaboration with French artist Prune Nourry and the first public installation of her work in the United States.

The project includes removing invasive species and restoring native habitats, creating a refuge for local wildlife and a sustainable future for both people and nature. A focused environmental educational space will be created to produce and promote the use of native landscape species for the community. Exumas, The Bahamas
Expected completion: 2027
Highbourne Cay in the Exumas is an extraordinary place with rich topography, pristine sand beaches, and incredible local flora and fauna. Our goal, as landscape architects, is always to disturb as little as possible and restore whatever may be impacted during construction. RJI worked with the architects to choreograph every step of the experience, from the moment someone sets foot on the island to the instant they ride a bicycle or cart through it. Shade, fragrance, the sounds of water and birds, and the preservation of extraordinary views all contribute to a sense of wonder.
Collaborators: Highbourne (Client), Olson Kundig (Architecture), Valle de Valle (Interior Design)
